No, you can contact Grounded Path Wellness directly to book an appointment.

In the first session, we’ll explore what brings you to counselling, review your intake form, and discuss the structure of our sessions, expectations, and your desired outcomes.

The initial intake session is 75 minutes. Subsequent counselling sessions are 50 minutes.

The frequency and number of sessions will be determined collaboratively based on your individual needs and goals.

Initial intake session (75 minutes): $160
Subsequent individual sessions (50 minutes): $145
Payments are due at the time of service.
Accepted payment methods include cash (exact amount), credit card, or e-transfer to dena@groundedpath.ca.
A receipt will be issued at the end of each session.

If you have extended health benefits, we may be able to direct bill your insurance provider on your behalf. You will be responsible for any fees not covered. If direct billing is not available with your provider, you will receive an electronic receipt to submit for reimbursement.
Please verify that your insurance plan covers sessions with this service provider. My registration number will be included on your receipt. If additional documentation is required, let us know, and we’ll assist where possible.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in being charged for the session. Insurance providers do not reimburse for missed or canceled sessions, so you will be responsible for the fee. Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances.

Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your needs and improve accessibility.

We are committed to keeping your personal information private. If you would like information released, you will need to sign a consent form.
There are, however, some legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality:If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
If there is suspected abuse of a child.
If a court order or subpoena requires the release of information.
In such cases, only the necessary information will be shared, and we will consult with other professionals as required. Additionally, counsellors may consult with other professionals to provide the best service. When this occurs, no identifying information, such as your name, will be shared.
